Where to see live comedy in April in and around Lancaster Pennsylvania
Hello comedy fans! Thank you for subscribing to this newsletter! Whether you are a stand up comedian or a just a fan of live comedy, thank you for being a part of a growing local comedy scene. Let’s make history! The more friends you bring out to a local comedy show, the more fans of live comedy there will be, which will lead to even bigger and better shows. Let’s keep this thing going so that all the big name headliners take notice and see the Lancaster area as a place they must perform when they are doing shows on the road.
March was a fantastic month for comedy in the Lancaster area. At Phantom Power in Millersville, we got to see Helium Comedy Club’s Phillies Phunniest winner Cassandra Dee work out material for her upcoming comedy special taping. At Rock Lititz, we got to see some of our best local and regional comedy acts create explosions of laughter in a sold out theater, the fantastic new venue called Mickey’s Black Box. We saw Kevin Murph bring in some of the funniest comics around to perform in a packed room at O’Halloran’s Irish Pub in Lancaster City. And, once again, we saw a killer show at The White Swan in Lititz, where local legend Avery Quinn made his surprise triumphant return to The Shire, and flexed his comedic prowess that has continued to develop since moving out of the area.
Spring is upon us, and while the beautiful snowfall that distracts us from the sidewalks littered with blunt wraps and vomit in downtown Lancaster was charming, everyone is ready to come out of hibernation, take a deep breath of spring air, and go to a comedy show.

April 2- TCP LAUGHS

TCP Laughs has become a staple of must see Lancaster City events. Hilarious comedians, live music, great food, great drinks, and couches. Lots of comfortable couches. This is one of the most comfortable venues we’ve ever been to, and TCP Entertainment always delivers fantastic events that bring the whole community together. This event always sells out so get your tickets!
April 10- POV Comedy Showcase
This month’s POV Comedy Showcase is one you don’t want to miss. Please come out to support this monthly event as it continues to grow, and bring some friends along to laugh with you. It’s only 5 bucks and the lineup is STACKED!
April 28- Pay what you want comedy show at Our Town Brewery
(the eventbrite page might say April 21st but the show has been rescheduled and the correct date is the 28th)
Professional, touring comics from the NYC stand-up scene visit Lancaster for one night only in this special event. If you don’t laugh, you don’t pay. This is a fun, oddball experiment of a comedy event so come down to what will surely be a night to remember. Showtime starts at 7:30 PM.

April 23 - Standup at the Swan

This event continues to be hilarious so you should continue to go to it. Each month, they always have some very funny guest drop ins who weren’t on the flyer. You don’t know who could show up! This is a must see monthly comedy show in the area. Good food and cold drinks at reasonable prices. This event is free, but a tip bucket will be passed around at the end of the show to be divvied up amongst the comics so bring cash.

Last month this show was packed out and a great time. Call to reserve your tickets so you don’t miss out. We are so lucky to have a bar show like this in our city!
